Raymond A. Emer

Raymond A. Emer, 90, of Cape Coral passed away Thursday October 4, 2018. He was born in Buffalo, NY in 1928 to the late Joseph and Loretta Emer. He married Marion Epperlein in 1950 in Buffalo and was later drafted in to the US Army where he served in Germany from 1952 to 1955. Raymond worked as a carpenter most of his life in Buffalo. He moved to Cape Coral 1n 1989 where he was a member of the VFW Post 8463 and Eagles Aerie 3957.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years Marion, three children; Wendy (Donald) Koch of Attica, NY, Donna Erny and Raymond (Jewell) Emer of Cape Coral, Fl. Brother Richard (Barbara) Emer of Amherst, NY, ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was dearly loved by all and will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday October 13, 2018 at Fuller Metz Funeral Home in Cape Coral. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
