Michael J Freiling

Michael Joseph Freiling, 59, formerly of Levittown, PA died Monday July 29, 2019 in Ft. Myers, FL.

Mike was an avid Philadelphia Sports fan and a beloved superfan of the Eagles. He once said that he could now die a happy man since the Eagles won the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl win was the last check mark for Mike in watching his Philly sports teams win their championships.  He was the youngest of three and great brother to Kathy and Walt, he was also the devoted long-term companion to the love of his life Kathy Creedon. Kathy was his rock and his life. She gave up everything to care for Mike in his fight with cancer and to comfort Mike in his final hours.

Mike is survived by his sister Kathy Rennie and her grown children Calum and Gillian, along with his brother Walter Freiling and wife Elizabeth. Mike also has too many cousins to mention, but cousin John Moore and wife Neicey, along with cousin Barbra Moore (deceased), were great family and great friends to Mike during his shorten life.

Mike is now with his parents that he loved Walt and Lois and will be watching the future Eagles seasons with them.  Rest in Peace Mike you will be missed and loved always.

A celebration of life will take place 4:00 pm Saturday, August 3, 2019 at The Monkey Bar and Restaurant on Lafayette Street in Cape Coral, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Moffitt Cancer Center.
