Lucy T. Doyle

Lucy Theresa Doyle, 92, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away November 11, 2022.  She was born on April 24, 1930 in Syracuse, New York to Frank and Teresa Cariota., the youngest of nine children.

Lucy graduated in 1948 from North High School in Syracuse and married William P. Doyle in 1959. They lived in Redlands and San Dimas, California and moved to Cape Coral in 1968. She worked in the bakery at Publix for 30 years.

She enjoyed bowling and playing bridge and was a lover of all animals. Lucy was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Cape Coral for over 50 years as well as a member of Junior Women in Cape Coral.

She was preceded in death by her husband William P. Doyle; and her siblings Anna Priolo, Kate Garafalo, Joseph Cariota, Bruno Cariota, Andrew Cariota, Gerald Cariota, Gert Dadabo and Carmella Cariota. She is survived by her daughters Patricia D. Post (Pete) and Mary E. Darlin (Gene) as well as several nieces and nephews.

Entombment will be private at Coral Ridge Cemetery, Cape Coral.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations may be made in her memory to Best Friends Livesaving Center, 2005 South 1100 East, Salt Lake City, Utah 84106, ASPCA or any other charity benefiting the animal community.
