Liza Marie Charest passed away peacefully on April 16, 2019 under the care of Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, Florida. She was 56 years of age. Liza was the devoted wife of Larry Roy, the loving mother of Brittany and Corey Shaw, the beloved daughter of Viola and Phillip Boudreau, and the caring sister of Bruce, Kelly and Hope. She was preceded in death by her son, Ryan Shaw and her father, Guy Charest. Liza was born and raised in Connecticut. She was a lover of music and the beach. She had been a resident of Fort Myers, Florida for the last 11 years and spent a lot of time with her husband exploring the local beaches. She will be remembered as a fun spirit who lived life to the fullest and got the most she could out of living each day.
Liza was a great friend to those who knew her and worked with her. She was well known in the Health and Beauty section at Publix, where she had been employed for 11 years. She was always there to offer a helping hand and a friendly smile to her friends and co-workers. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
A visitation to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 6PM to 8PM at the Fuller Metz Funeral Chapel on Del Prado Blvd. in Cape Coral. Memorial contributions may be sent to Hope hospice in Liza's honor at 9470 Health Park Circle Fort Myers, FL 33908 or at www.hopehcs.org.
