Linda K. Whitmore

Linda Kropp Whitmore, age 66, passed away on May 13, 2018 in Orlando Florida Hospital. She was the wife of Jack Whitmore. They were middle-school sweethearts and married for 46 wonderful years. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jane and Edward Kropp. Linda lived in Lawncrest, Philadelphia and graduated in 1969 from Olney High School. Moved to Cape May County, NJ around 1975 and ran the Wine Barrel Bridal and Tuxedo Shop along with her Mother. She moved to Cape Coral, FL in 1987 and opened Jayne Lewis Bridal and Tuxedo along with her Mother and Sister. She worked in the bridal industry for 28 years. Linda recently worked as a showroom manager for Aubuchon Homes, a SWFL builder and helped many people with selections for their homes. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, knitting, having parties, making people laugh, wearing silly hats and going to the beach. Linda is survived by her husband Jack Whitmore, Son John Whitmore and his wife Tammy, Son Eddie Whitmore and his wife Meredith; Brother Bob Kropp and his wife Chris, Sister Leigh Hassano and her husband George Westenbarger, Sister Jacque Miloff and her husband Jeff; Grandchildren Jack, Jacob, Kevin, Kaili and Kimmy and many loving nieces and nephews. Linda is preceded in death by her parents Jane and Edward Kropp and her brother Edward Kropp. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday May 19, 2018 at Fuller Metz Funeral Home, 3740 Del Prado Blvd, Cape Coral. The family will receive friends for visiting two hours prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
