Joseph Guy Vieceli, 86, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away peacefully on November 25, 2019. He was born to Joseph and Augusta Vieceli in Fonzaso, Italy and moved to Chicago, Illinois with his family when he was 2. Joseph graduated Morton High School in 1951. He entered into The United States Army in 1953. He served during The Korean War and earned the rank of Corporal. He was honorably discharged in March of 1955. He met and married his wife Mary in November of 1955. They were married for 49 years when Mary passed away in February 2005. Joseph worked for Pitney Bowes in Chicago and also Fort Wayne, Indiana for 37 years. In 1980 he moved with his family to Cape Coral, Florida. During his time in Cape Coral he founded Jomar Entertainment Corp, providing entertainment to seniors. He was Past Grand Knight of The Saint Andrew Council 7131 and Faithful Navigator of the 4th Degree. Through the Showtime Yearly events over 35 years, The Knight of Columbus helped raise over $250,000 for local charities. Joseph was also an usher for Saint Andrews Catholic Church for 35 plus years. He enjoyed vacationing on over 25 cruises through the years with family and friends, he was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. He was over joyed when they FINALLY won The World Series in 2016. He also loved his children and his grandchildren.
Joseph leaves behind to cherish his memory his children David (Nancy), Michael (Lori); his grandchildren Margo (Chris), Matthew, Mandy and Andrew. Also his sister Joann. He was pre-deceased by his wife Mary and his brother in law Clare.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 2 PM to 4PM; and 7PM to 9PM at the Fuller Metz Funeral Chapel on Del Prado Blvd. South in Cape Coral.  The funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 12:00PM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Fort Myers, FL, followed by entombment at Coral Ridge Cemetery in Cape Coral, FL.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Hope Hospice of Cape Coral.  Donations can be mailed to 9470 Healthpark Circle Fort Myers, FL 33908.
