Jay Richard Meisel

Jay Meisel, age 61, passed away on Sunday, June 17th in Sebring, Florida. Jay moved to Cape Coral, Florida in 1969 from New Kensington, PA. He graduated from Cypress High School and the University of South Florida in Tampa. Jay was a journalist for the Highland News-Sun in Sebring, Florida. He was pre-deceased by his father, Norman. He is survived by his mother, Beverly, his brother Dr. Dean Meisel , his sister in law, Jackie and their 4 girls. There will be a service at Fuller Metz Cremation and Funeral Services on Monday, June 25, 2018 beginning at 11:00 AM. Following the service, internment will be at Fort Myers City Cemetery at 1:30 PM located at 3200 Michigan Avenue, Fort Myers, Florida 33916.
