James John Kalogridis
November 20, 1925 - January 11, 2020 (age 94)
On January 11, 2020, The Lord came for James John Kalogridis, 94 of Cape Coral, Florida.
James was born in Falika, Andros, Greece and arrived to the United States of America in 1955. He treasured his life being married to Theresa Kalogridis for 64 years. Together they raised 3 daughters in Yonkers, New York. James owned and operated the very successful Saw Mill Diner on Saw Mill River Road in Yonkers. James served in the Greek Navy as well as the Greek Merchant Marines. He along with Theresa, loved boating, playing poker with their friends and both were active in their church community. James was a board member at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church as well as the Prophet Elias in Yonkers, New York. He was a long standing member of AHEPA, The Mr. and Mrs.Club and The Italian American Club, but most of all, they loved each other dearly. They were never apart!
James, is survived by his daughters, Louise (Lenny), Joanne (Spiro), Georgia (Rich), son Leonidas (Tina). His Grandchildren; Stephanie, Alexandra (Tyler), Melissa (Demetri), Cassandra, Alaina, Victoria (Demetri), Eden, George and James along with 7 Great Grandchildren; Alexis, Troy, Nixon, Jace, newborn baby boy, Ophelia, Apollo and several loving nieces and nephews.
James and Theresa joined our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven, 5 days apart, Forever Together!
Funeral Services for both James and Theresa will be held at 12 Noon Monday January 13, 2020 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Ft. Myers. friends may visit beging at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens.
