James A.LoCascio, Sr., passed away peacefully Sept. 10, 2021, at Hope Hospice, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Bronx, N.Y. and moved with his family to West Haven, Connecticut. After high school, he served his country in the U.S.Army. He was a proud, retired Connecticut State Police Sergeant, Troop I, Bethany. He spent his retirement years enjoying the Florida weather, boating and fishing with family and friends. He leaves his wife of 52 years, Karen, and son Michael, his wife Ronda, beloved daughter-in-law Lisa, and two beautiful grandchildren, the 'Proud Pa' he was, to Alexandra and Nicolas. Sadly, he was pre-deceased by his oldest son, James, Jr. Many friends and relatives, nieces and nephews, will undoubtedly miss his sense of humor and his love of the sea.
