Howard C. Thomson

On Friday, November 25, 2022, Howard Clair Thomson, lost his fight with cancer and went to be with our Lord. Howard was born on April 6, 1961 in Port Huron, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Gene Thomson. He is survived by his wife, Linda Lally Thomson of 32 years. His son Russell Kesterson (Alexis Weathersbee), daughter Mary Lau (Luis), and son Daniel Thomson. He is survived by his eight grandchildren who he loved dearly Roni (Greg) Welch; Briana Coins; AJ Kesterson; Anthony Lau; Dominic Kesterson; Isabela Lau; Thomas Lau and Kaitlyn Thomson, his great granddaughter, Sophia Welch, his daughter-in-law, Meghan Thomson; his siblings Barbara Taylor, Kaye Smith and Lloyd Thomson and many nieces and nephews. Howard was a bonus dad and PopPop to many and an amazing friend & coworker to many. He was an Aviation Structural Mechanic in the Navy for 20 years and then did the same with a Navy contractor, Dyncorp for over 15 years. He loved being with his grandkids, riding his motorcycle, mechanic work, woodworking, hunting, enjoyed a nice glass of Jameson on the rocks and helping others when they needed him.
