Gary S Nelson

Gary S. Nelson, 73, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away on February 28th, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. 

Gary was born to Arthur and Emily Nelson, April 3rd, 1947, in Rockville Center, NY. He married Cynthia Cerveny in 1965. Together they raised 3 wonderful daughters.
He leaves as his legacy 3 children: Tracy Kilgore, Cheryl Bonime (Brett Bonime), and Michele Knierim (Greg Knierim). He has 4 grandchildren: Justin, Alex, Bailey, and Andrew. His children and grandchildren remember him as a hard-headed, hard-working and hard loving Dad/Grandpa.
He was preceded in death by Priscilla Snyder (sister).

Gary was a cable repairman with BellSouth until he retired in 2001. Upon retirement, he continued to tinker around as a handy man, but mostly enjoyed being near the water - afternoons in the pool and cruising.
At Gary’s request, there will not be any services. The family requests that donations be made to Hope Hospice or The American Cancer Society.
