Francis J. Diamond

Francis J. Diamond, known as Frank, 96, of Cape Coral, Florida, a WWII veteran, passed away May 24, 2020. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to Cape Coral from Delran, NJ in 1988.

Frank excelled in his career with the Pennsylvania Railroad after he returned from the military, until he retired.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jane, daughter Eileen, son Thomas and brothers William, Charles, Richard, Joseph and John (Jack). He is survived by his daughter Jane, son Michael, sisters Regina and Margaret, brother Robert, three grandchildren Dominic, Michael and Christopher and five great grandchildren Ariel, Taylor, Joseph, Ashton and Cameron.

Frank adored his family and was very proud of them all. He was a wonderful caregiver for his wife and daughter and later took care of his dear friend and neighbor Stella. He will be missed by many.

In lieu of flowers he would want people to donate to his favorite charity, The Special Olympics.

Memorial Services will be delayed until a further date due to current circumstances.
