Blaine K. Elmer, 64 of Cape Coral Florida passed away tragically on Sunday, May 2, 2021.
Blaine was born in Trenton, NJ and was a graduate of Hamilton High West and Mercer County Community College. Blaine began his career as an electrician and then opened and operated a karate school known as American Karate Institute in Hamilton, New Jersey.
He started his law enforcement career as a police officer with the New Hanover Police Department followed by becoming a Trooper after graduating in the 99th class with the New Jersey State Police.
He went on to create and operate BKE Agency as a private investigator. He enlisted in the US Navy under the Advance Paygrade Program with a specialty in Intelligence. After a long and distinguished career including multiple deployments overseas, Blaine retired from the Navy in 2015 achieving a rank of Master Chief.
Blaine was a real estate agent for Jones & Company Realty in Cape Coral.
He was a member of the Punishers, a law enforcement motorcycle club with the 31st Chapter where he was affectionately known as “Gator”.
Blaine owned and operated Seacraft Waterfront Tiki Bar in North Fort Myers, FL with his youngest son and head chef Nicholas.
Blaine was predeceased by his parents Richard and Elaine Elmer and by his son Nicholas who tragically passed on the same day as Blaine.
Blaine is survived by his daughter, Valerie Neeld and her husband Kyle, his oldest son Steven Blaine Elmer; his 3 grandchildren Olivia, Tyler and Charlotte; his sister Cindy (Robert), his brothers Richard Jr. (Kelly), Kevin (Marcy), Kenneth (Mary) and Brian (Patti). He is also survived by his son Nicholas fiancée Alicia Gregoire, and many nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Fuller Metz Cremation and Funeral Services 3740 Del Prado Boulevard South Cape Coral, FL 33904.
