Betty Jane Stakey

Betty Jane Stakey, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away at 89 years of age on April 16, 2024 in Cape Coral, Florida. She had been under the care of Hope Hospice after enduring a long battle with Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
Betty was born in Media, Illinois on July 31, 1934. She had worked in Illinois as a school secretary before retiring to Cape Coral.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Georgiana Elliott and sons, Jerry W. Davis and Joseph Stakey, as well as five beloved grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Interment will be held privately on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens in Fort Myers, Florida.
