Bella Bordo Cook, 91, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully on July 13, 2018
at Shell Point Retirement Community. She is survived by her four children, Philip (Adina ) Margolis of Eagan, MN, Janet (David) Sunderman of Lewis Center, OH, Paul (Donald) Margolis of San Francisco, CA , Jean (Kendall) Wiseley of Cape Coral, FL and two step-children, Sharon (Joseph) McIntyre of Bowling Green, OH and Ronald (Pat) Cook of Cape Coral, FL. She has five grandchildren, Ryan (Amy) Sunderman, Erin (Jason) Cox, Tiffany (John) Pendleton, Brandyn Rojas, and Sarah Margolis. In addition, she has eleven great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. She is also survived by her brother, Edwin Bordo of New York, NY and Dale’s five grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale M. Cook and her former husband and father of her children, Hyman Margolis. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Rose (Siegel) Bordo, brother William and sisters Beatrice, Esther, Ann, Thelma and Zelma. Bella was born in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and graduated from Cleveland Heights High School. She attended business school in Cleveland. She lived in Lorain, Ohio for twenty-six years. She was an active member of the Agudath B’nai Synagogue in Lorain. She moved to Florida and lived there for forty-six years.

Bella and Dale loved traveling, boating, fishing and hosting guests. Their children and grandchildren were their greatest joy. Bella was “beautiful” and full of life to the end. She will be missed by her family and friends and may she rest in peace.

In lieu of formal services there will be a gathering of her children to celebrate their Mother.
