Barbara Ann Underwood

Barbara Underwood of Cape Coral Florida passed away suddenly March 17th at the age of 81. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert Underwood, and her sister Sally Haddox She is also survived by her five children, Barbara Bittner, Robert (Brenda) Underwood, Karen Hosier, Kathy Underwood, James (Missy) Underwood, 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was a former employee of Nations Bank, a graduate and Majorette of Brookside High School class of 1956, held an Associate Degree in Journalism and was working on a Liberal Arts degree. A devoted wife and mother, she was a military wife for 22 years. She also was a girl scout leader for a few years. Other talents she had were cake decorating and interior design. Her greatest joy though, in life was having her loving family around her
