Ruth Alys Hunter past away on October 10, 2017 at eighty-seven years of age. Ruth was born on August 9, 1930 in Muncy, Pa, the daughter of Nick and Dorothy Tironie.  Born in the depression; Ruth learned at an early age the uplifting effect that music had on people. Blessed with a beautiful voice, she began singing in a trio with her sisters.   Ruth never lost her love of music, but found an even greater love when she married Daniel K. Hunter and chose to raise her family. Ruth moved to Cape Coral in 1980. She worked at Memorial Gardens, Fort Myers, Fl. before retiring in 2000.
She is survived by her daughter: Dorothy A. Vankleeck, Cape Coral, Fl, her sons Ricky D. Hunter and Nicolas M. Hunter of Cape Coral, Fl, her grandchildren, Vanessa Vankleeck Koza, Justine VanKleeck Montgomery, Shaina A. VanKleeck,  Nicholas D. Hunter, Justin J. Hunter, Stacy Hunter Barr, Leo Espina, and step-daughter Nancy Lowe  and  (9) great-grandchildren.
A service will be held on October 28th, 2:00pm at Fuller-Metz Funeral Home.
