Joseph P. Callahan, 71, of Cape Coral, Florida, (formerly of Huntington Station, New York) passed away on October 13, 2017 surrounded by family and loved ones, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born August 25, 1946 to the late Edmund and Margaret Callahan. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Denise, his three daughters Tara (Tom), Kerri (Marc), and Ryann (James), his twin sons Daniel and Christopher, his sisters Mary, Margaret, and Ann Marie (Kevin), his brother Michael, and his grandchildren Shamus, Grace, and Parker.
He is predeceased by his brother Edmund Callahan.
Joe lived for is family and was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, son-in-law, brother, godfather, uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, and friend. He will be truly missed and every memory of him cherished.
A service will be held on Friday, November 3rd at 9:30am at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida.
